Meet Michelle

Michelle Blundon, the Director of Career Development at WRDC, is a guiding force behind the organization’s mission. Her role involves the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs that exceed national guidelines and standards, making sure that WRDC empowers its clients to reach their career goals.

With over 20 years of experience in the career development field, Michelle is passionate about working with women and gender-diverse individuals. Her academic journey includes a bachelor’s degree in Human Services with distinction from Athabasca University and a social work diploma with honors from Protage College in Lac La Biche, Alberta.

Michelle has received the Governor General’s Bronze Medallion for her academic achievements and is a Certified Career Development Practitioner. She’s been recognized for her volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and received the Ambassador Excellence Award from the St. John’s Board of Trade.

Michelle is a devoted mom to her amazing daughter and her pup Gus, an enthusiastic but not always successful vegetable gardener, and a nature lover when the weather suits her. She is known for her strong-minded, witty, and outgoing personality.

Michelle’s dedication to empowering women and her warm, resilient personality shine through her work at WRDC.
