Pam is the President and Principal Consultant at Power Environmental Consulting Services (PECS). By collaborating with other professionals, Pam is able to scale up project services in the capacity of Project Management, Environmental Assessment, Compliance Reporting, and Sustainability Planning. This adaptive co-management style has allowed her to work on projects across a number of industry sectors including but not exclusive to natural resources, energy and agriculture.
Pam started her career as an engineering technologist, upon graduating from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in 2008, where she specialized in Hydrogeology. Environmental consulting provides a diverse work environment, in both projects and colleagues/crew which has fueled her passion for continuous improvement in industry best-practices.
Pam is currently enrolled in the Masters of Science Program at Royal Roads University, where she is specializing in Environmental Practice. She is a member in good standing with the Association of Engineering Technicians and Technologists of Newfoundland and Labrador (AETTNL) and Newfoundland and Labrador Organization of Women Entrepreneurs (NLOWE). Pam holds a number of professional certifications including Erosion and Sediment Practitioner, Field Procedures for Works in and About Water Practitioner and Occupational Health and Safety. Her environmental work has also provided the opportunity to sit on a number of Board of Directors including the Exploits Valley Community Coalition (EVCC), Exploits Aboriginal Community Group (EACG), and now the Women's Resource Development Corporation.
