Barbara is the Vice President-General Manager for SNC- Lavalin Industrial Atlantic Inc. (a division of SNC -Lavalin Inc. Group of Companies) with a primary role acting as the strategic business partner to champion the vision and growth for the delivery of integrity engineering and inspection services. She leads a professional and technical team of 50+, working collaboratively to create a sustainable business within the Atlantic Canada region, with targeted priorities for the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

With a career spanning 22 years, Barbara has held progressive leadership, operational, quality, health and safety leadership roles, with increasing responsibilities at the business, regional, functional and corporate levels for complex and diverse organizations, that were constantly evolving and growing. Her experience progressed across oil & gas, industrial, general engineering, construction, and EPCM service sectors, working in various provinces across Canada, and other countries such as the United States, France and Brazil.

Leading multi-discipline teams she has attained an understanding of human resource practices to engage and inspire, to foster collaboration, facilitation and consensus building to engage internal and external stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and enhance strategic partnerships. Barbara holds a designation as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), Certified Risk Manager (CRM) and has a Master’s Certificate in Project Management supported by further educational achievements in the areas of technology and business management.
