Who We Are

Created in 1997, Women in Resource Development Corporation (WRDC) is a provincial non-profit organization committed to increasing women’s participation in trades and technology.

Board & Executive

WRDC’s Board of Directors is composed of women who collectively represent a variety of sectors and organizations and are working to overcome hurdles facing women in the workforce. As individuals, these women Board members bring a wide range of experiences to the table.

Staff

WRDC, including its Educational Resource Centre, has fifteen (15) staff. Four (4) staff members are based in regional satellite offices in Central (1), Western (2), and Labrador (1).

Collectively, our staff has extensive experience in equity, diversity and inclusion, research, education, post secondary training (public, private and union), the natural resource sector, the technology sector, career development and employment assistance services, as well as AESL Employment Programs.
